I love it when they ask me to make a cake theme. This time it was the birthday of two boys and the surprise party was organized by their fellow football.
Nothing seemed more appropriate for a beautiful cake shaped like a football field
The photo came even worse than I usually do but the cake was really great and I did not know how to fit them all inside the goal. Basically I made two cakes sponge cake which I then together and covered with mmf. Inside was filled with a layer of pastry cream to coffee.
The initial idea was to write the names on the football field but since I did not have the molds to cut the letters I found a solution in the end I was always very original: I printed out small flags with the letters of the name celebrated the 2 (you can download here ) and I like hanging banners in the stadium.
